A Better Sense of Who I Am

Happy man on the sea side

To avoid situations that might lead to drug use in the future, students must be able to identify true friends and the positive people in their lives and, to isolate those likely to lead them back into trouble. On the Overcoming Ups & Downs in Life course, students can learn how poor decisions regarding friends and acquaintances damaged their lives in the past and how to make better choices in the future. This is what Andrew had to say upon completion of that course:

I am happy with the knowledge I learned from the Overcoming Ups & Downs in Life course. I am in a good spot in my recovery and feel ready to be able to confront my problems and handle them as best I can. I feel a better sense of who I am and feel like I can be a better person. I need to stay away from anti-social people and focus on my recovery.
