My Calling in Life

Anyone reading newspapers, listening to radio, following news online must have by now realized that we have an insidious epidemic of drugs attacking our society. That isn’t just true for the US. Just ask yourself how many people you personally know that are taking drugs, drinking alcohol or have some form of drug dependency—medical or street drugs. We did a rapid survey and 18 out of 20 had at least one family member or close friend who is addicted.

There is a reason why we have dedicated staff members at Narconon Arrowhead with the mission and purpose to help others become Drug Free. For Good.

Happy young girl

One of our staff had this to say about her work here at Narconon:

I had lived a pretty good life before I came to work at Narconon. I had everything I could possibly want, except for one thing—purpose. I felt like I was walking around in circles trying to find what I was supposed to do and who I was meant to be. I knew that I had to help people, but I knew there were many ways I could do that. I ended up hearing about Narconon and I thought, ’this is it’.

I was on the next flight to Oklahoma and started my training. My experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. The students and the staff have blown my mind every single day that I have been here. I have observed that there is a common denominator between the staff members—they all care so much about the well-being and the success of each student. I’ve seen the efforts and hard work of many staff members to ensure the sobriety and success of every student on the program.

The students go through such an amazing transformation. They become better, healthier, faster and have more energy as they progress through the program, making this program, unlike any other. The Narconon program helps the students become clean, also stay clean by restoring their respect, alleviating their guilt and help them handle the negative influences in their life. Narconon helps restore the confidence to continue and be successful in life. As a staff member, witnessing these miracles every day, makes me realize that there is not a place I would rather be.

I have found my calling.
