guyThe life of an addict is chaotic. It can be dangerous, and desperate. Those who love the addicted person the most, are hurt the most. Families disintegrate in the onslaught of addiction, and lives are ruined. Fortunately a decision can be made on the part of the addict to make another choice, and walk a different road. He or she can decide to find help, and do whatever it takes to reclaim their life from addiction. This is one such story.

Rob

Rob describes his life before coming to Narconon Arrowhead as “chaotic.” His life consisted of robbing people, selling drugs, trying to get by every day and worrying about getting high. He was in and out of jail, and “just doing the wrong things.”

When he first arrived at Narconon Arrowhead in Southeastern Oklahoma, he admits he was a little nervous about it because he had never been to Narconon—or any other drug rehab for that matter. It was a totally new experience for him, and he nothing to compare it to.

Despite his reservations, Rob says everyone at the rehab facility was nice, and they made him feel more comfortable about being there. He says it was the first time he could remember being really comfortable in his environment—or anything like that.

Changes

Rob shares that there is a part of the Narconon program where a person does drills and exercises—and it brings you back into present time. He says you realize what is going on, and it helps a person get over what they did in the past. It helps you move on through the bad stuff that you did, he says, and as a result it lets you live productive and clean.

He shares with the reader that now he has completed the Narconon rehab program at Narconon Arrowhead, he feels he can do whatever it is he wants to do, and he can have anything he wants to have.

“I feel like I am ready to take on the whole world.”
