Christina: “Relief from Guilt”

Making the right choices determines your whole future, but what is right? How can you determine this for yourself in every case? One step of the Narconon program is the Life Skill course Personal Values and Integrity.

On this step of the program, one confronts and takes responsibility for the harmful acts they have committed against themselves, their family, groups and other areas of life — so they can move forward drug free and free from guilt and with the ability to make the right decisions in life.

Here’s what Christina had to say about her journey through this course:

By writing up the harmful acts I had done to myself, I have gained the ability to see how badly I’ve treated myself. I can now look ahead and make sure I no longer harm myself in such ways. I am able to look back and see things in a different light, letting go of all the negatives in my life. I have allowed myself to move forward to a drug-free life. Thank you, Narconon!

By writing these harmful acts, I was able to release some of the guilt I have harbored for years. I’ve looked back and realized that by masking my feelings, I’ve only harmed myself and my family. By letting go and dealing with my emotions, I can now move forward and be honest with myself and my loved ones. I now see why I reverted to drugs and alcohol and now I can get past those things and remain drug free. Thank you, Narconon!

After going through my memories of guilt, untold things and harmful acts, and really focusing on them and writing them out in detail, I was able to release myself from my past and the guilt that was locked inside. By getting it all out and letting go, I am able to focus on the present and not the past, which will ensure a drug-free future. Thank you, Narconon!

By releasing the guilt I felt from neglecting my children and family members through my drug use, I feel free. I no longer carry the burden of guilt. Confronting the harmful acts and releasing the guilt will ensure I cannot use that guilt to get high and neglect my family again, thus ensuring I go on living a happy life free of addiction.

Looking back on the groups I’ve been involved with and reliving some of the harmful acts and withholds I’ve caused on these groups, has helped me relieve the guilt of my wrong doings. I’ve also learned how these acts were harmful to the groups and their function. By looking back, I can see how I’ve wronged the groups and how not to act in a harmful manner towards groups, thus ensuring I can succeed in groups and remain drug free. Thank you, Narconon!

By confronting my harmful acts and withholds on society I have gotten through the guilt of the harm I’ve caused to society. I feel good because I got it all out, written them and confronted them. By doing so, I can be mindful not to repeat them, ensuring a drug-free life.

I confronted my harmful acts on physical objects. I dug through my past and realized how harmful stealing from other people can be. I released myself of the guilt and feel amazing for doing so. I am free of all the guilt that weighed heavily on my mind. I am now able to move forward, guilt free and happy, making way for a drug-free life. I now have a new life and I am forever grateful and thankful for it. Thank you, Narconon!
