I’m Now Happy

When I arrived at Narconon I was a mess. About an hour away from Narconon, everything hit me while I was driving here with my mom. I couldn’t believe I hit rock bottom and put my family through it—after living in North Dakota for five years, she had no idea. When I arrived here, I was happy to see there were staff members around to welcome me.

Withdrawal was the hardest step of the Narconon program but I am now happy to know my body was capable of getting off drugs without drugs to substitute others.

Detox was the next step and thirty days in the sauna every day was intense. I reacted almost every day in the beginning, from all the drug toxins and oil crap in my body. I felt so tired, but the best part was towards the end I had so much energy—I felt like a new person!

Objectives were next and, man, did I think it was such a waste of time hearing others repeating that same thing 3 days in a row. Getting through Objectives helped me with having so much more patience and being in the present time.

The Life Skills courses were another huge step in the Narconon program. It was a huge impact on me realizing antisocial personalities and writing all my overts [harmful transgressions]. Doing the condition formulas was an amazing step to help me know where I am in my life and where to get started. I am so happy I am clean and completed the Narconon program.
