less complicatedMost people will agree that life, at times, seems complicated.   Life is lived by many people. We have family and friends, spouses, children, pets, good relationships, not so good relationships, finances, lack of finances, our work-a-day world obligations, and the current events of the world.  Pile on that the overwhelming destruction of drug abuse and addiction, and it’s very plain that life needs to be made less complicated.

The Complications of Life

Like a ship without a rudder, being cast about in rough seas, a life without purpose has no course to steer.  Idle wandering through life with no purpose or goal, no dreams to aspire to, no desire for personal betterment or achievement of which one can be proud, are certain indicators of trouble to come.   Lack of participation in life, failure to fulfill obligations incurred by nature of being a family member or a co-worker, failure to deal fairly with ones fellows, a failed education, a lack of the necessary skills to survive, departing from the moral code with which one was raised, are all examples of running away from life, to a greater or lesser degree.  It is in the actions of running away from life, that the complications in life are sure to follow.  And it is in the failures to face life, the failures to be able to stand-up to adversity and attendant painful emotion, and the disappointments big or small, that drug use and abuse can gain its foothold.

For the majority of people, life presents challenges throughout.  Some we are prepared to deal with, either through experience, education or perhaps, confidence in ourselves alone.  And some challenges we are not at all prepared to deal with, and can become confused and lose our confidence.  Unfortunately, there are sometimes individuals around us who do not have our best interests at heart, and for less than honorable reasons, do not mind if we do badly, or fail.  When life gets to be too much, and an individual does not have the life skills or the tools to sort it out and hold a steady course of action, he or she will often turn to drugs as the solution.

The Role of Narconon Rehab

The Narconon rehab program is uniquely suited to helping a person sort-out the complexities in his or her own life, and get headed in the right direction once again.  The following personal experience of an individual who experienced those benefits of the Narconon program says it very well:

“Sometimes in life I get so wrapped up in all the things I’m trying to do and all the “so called” good deeds I’m trying to accomplish that I forget about myself! Thank God for the Narconon Program for it taught me to slow down and breathe, rest your mind that’s going 500 miles an hour and give yourself a time out. Well I did! The funny thing about that time out was that it forced me to re-think a few decisions I was about to make and how horribly wrong they were. After making a few minor adjustments and some present time soul searching I found the right decisions I needed to make and couldn’t be more pleased with the out- come! Thank you…Thank you…Thank you….L. Ron Hubbard for making my life a hell of lot less complicated.”

Given the tools of the Life Skills courses, an integral part of the broad success of the Narconon rehab program, an individual can gain the ability to face life with more confidence and understanding, and enabling them to make good decisions which open the door to leading a less-complex and happier life.
