I’m Completely Drug Free and Happy

I originally came to Narconon Arrowhead in 2001. I had been in 6 different rehabs, from religious programs to 12-step and everything in between. When I came to Arrowhead, I was just out of prison for the 3rd time. All three visits were drug-related. I originally didn’t want to try another rehab again. My mom sent me information on Narconon Arrowhead, the program, and especially the New Life Detoxification. After seeing that and the beautiful location, I felt this place was different. Oh boy, was I right.
From the moment I was picked up at the airport, the staff were amazing. Most of them had been through similar things that I had, and I decided to stay and help other people experience the newfound freedom that Narconon offers. I wasn’t called an addict or alcoholic; I was a student. I wasn’t told I was powerless; I was given tools to discover that I had the power to change my life for the positive. It was so transformative for me. I stayed and helped for 2 years. I saw so many people’s lives saved; it was so beautiful. We all had hope again. Not just for a drug or alcohol-free life but a renewed belief in ourselves and our dreams.
“I became active in life again. I wasn’t a detriment to anyone anymore. I added to my community and uplifted instead of tearing down.”
One of the biggest things I regained from the program was a chance for real relationships with other people, especially my family. With a lot of work, we all were given another chance. I became active in life again. I wasn’t a detriment to anyone anymore. I added to my community and uplifted instead of tearing down. And I did all this without being put on some other addictive drug that was supposed to “help” me.
I’m completely drug free and happy. I am so thankful for Narconon Arrowhead being there. I wouldn’t be here without it. Neither would thousands of others. If you want a chance at life again or know someone who needs help, Narconon Arrowhead is the place.
