Kim’s Experience With the Narconon Arrowhead Program

Kim’s Experience With the Narconon Arrowhead Program

It does not matter how one starts onto the path of drug addiction or how quickly one moves from casual drug use into full-blown addiction, there is absolutely no doubt that this is a complex condition that quickly takes over the individual’s every thought, decision and action in their entire life. It can happen that an individual sinks into addiction without truly recognizing it, but it can also happen that an individual recognizes fully that they have a problem and they need help. The difficulty lies in them getting the help they need to fully and effectively resolve their drug problems.

Rehabilitating an individual from drug addiction means restoring them to the ability to live a healthy, happy and productive life. In order to do this, rehabilitation treatment must address all aspects of addiction, including the many physical and mental causes and effects of addiction. Not the least of these is the individual’s physical cravings for and dependence upon drug substances, something that cannot simply “go away” by abstaining from drug use. Instead, rehabilitation treatment will need to aid the individual in fully eliminating the source of these cravings.

Ending Drug Addiction and Taking Back One’s Life

Kim started using methamphetamine when she was thirty-five years old, and she quickly became addicted to this powerful, stimulant drug substance. Before she arrived at Narconon Arrowhead she was completely lost in her drug addiction. She never opened her mail, attended her son’s baseball games or went to work. In fact, she never even went outside – she stayed isolated indoors all the time. Everything she thought or did was driven by the need to continue obtaining and using methamphetamine. She was miserable, sad and she needed help, but she didn’t know where to look.

Kim had already tried multiple other rehabilitation treatment programs to no avail, and had essentially given up all hope that she could be saved from her addiction. Her father became desperate, and searched the internet for a treatment program that may be able to successfully help his daughter put an end to her drug problems once and for all. He eventually came across information for Narconon Arrowhead, and saw that it was different from other programs in how it addressed the problem of addiction and empowered individuals to take back control of their lives.

When Kim’s father asked her if she would go to Narconon her answer was without hesitation – she absolutely had no interest at all. However, as her dad began to describe the Narconon New Life Detoxification Program, Kim became very interested. She loved the idea of effectively ridding her body of all the drug toxins that were keeping her trapped in her addiction, and she finally agreed to enroll in the Narconon program.

Kim went into the New Life Detoxification Program without knowing just what to expect, but hoping for some real relief. She ended up feeling wonderful – more energetic than she had ever felt before, and better able to experience smells and tastes. She actually felt the full benefit of eradicating all drug substances from her body and allowing her body to restore itself to a more healthful state.

As she worked through the life skills courses, Kim had her greatest win of all – she got herself back. She was able to take back control of her own life and regain her self-respect and her awareness of life around her. She is very happy to say that she now sees the world from a whole new perspective, one that is amazing. Thanks to Narconon, Kim feels better than she ever has before, and she cannot wait to get out into the world and live her life to the fullest, the way she always felt she was supposed to.
