Narconon Arrowhead Receives Citation by Oklahoma State Representative for Its Contributions to Drug Rehabilitation

In an acknowledgment for nearly six decades of unwavering service, Narconon International, and specifically Narconon Arrowhead, was recently recognized by the Oklahoma House of Representatives for its profound impact on individuals, families, and communities. This formal citation, presented by State Representative Jim Grego, celebrates the legacy, effectiveness, and global influence of Narconon's drug and alcohol rehabilitation and prevention efforts.
A Legacy of Healing and Hope
The citation, which was officially presented at the Narconon International Conference in September 2025, commends Narconon International for its “almost 60 years of long-standing commitment” to combating substance abuse worldwide. While Narconon’s reach is global, through its 30 drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, its foundation remains rooted in individualized care and a deep belief in the potential of every person to live a drug-free life.
“… An integral part of our community, serving some of our most vulnerable individuals and thereby contributing significantly to the well-being of the State of Oklahoma.”
Narconon Arrowhead, located in the heart of Oklahoma, holds a unique position in the international Narconon network. For nearly 25 years, it has operated as the flagship facility and international training center, welcoming students, staff, and trainees from across the globe. As the citation notes, Arrowhead has become “an integral part of our community, serving some of our most vulnerable individuals and thereby contributing significantly to the well-being of the State of Oklahoma.”
A Model of Recovery Based on Lasting Principles
The Narconon program is based on the groundbreaking work of author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. Over the years, this approach has guided thousands of individuals toward a life free from addiction, helping them rebuild relationships, reintegrate into society, and reclaim their purpose. The Oklahoma House of Representatives acknowledged this impact, stating in the citation that the program “has opened a path to a new life for thousands of individuals around the world, reuniting families and strengthening communities.”
Global Leadership Rooted in Oklahoma
While Narconon Arrowhead proudly serves local Oklahoma communities and surrounding states, its role as an international training center makes it a global leader in addiction recovery. Hosting the 2025 Narconon International Conference was a landmark event bringing together Narconon addiction professionals from across the world to share best practices, strengthen global collaboration, and renew their shared commitment to ending drug and alcohol abuse.
Looking Ahead
The Executive Director of Narconon Arrowhead, Brett Taylor said: “Receiving this citation from the Oklahoma House of Representatives is a great honor and a humbling reminder of the importance of our mission. We are deeply grateful to Representative Jim Grego and all those who continue to support our work. This recognition affirms the dedication of our staff, the courage of our students, and the hope we strive to bring to every person who walks through our doors.”
“As we look to the future, we remain committed to expanding access to effective drug and alcohol rehabilitation, supporting communities in need, and continuing to serve as a beacon of recovery in Oklahoma and beyond.”
