mother and sonThe Narconon drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is delivered at Narconon Arrowhead offers the addicted individual a drug-free method of method of recovery which is stable and long-term. Reviews of the program demonstrate that Narconon graduates routinely live successful lives following graduation. Such success is measured not only by sobriety, but by improved relationships with family, a successful return to work or school, and the reduction and/or elimination of recidivism—a relapse into criminal behavior.

Narconon Arrowhead Program Overview

The Narconon program approach to sobriety is gentle, and it is progressive. Drug-free withdrawal is supported with one-on-one support and generous nutrition.

Next is the New-Life Detoxification, an innovative and proven regimen of low heat sauna, exercise and nutrition to help the body flush residuals and toxins from past drug and alcohol abuse. Many who have done the New Life Detoxification have reported experiencing a considerable reduction or even elimination of physical cravings.

From this point on in the Narconon program, the individual builds skills he or she needs to maintain sobriety, and live a drug-free and productive life. It includes steps to restore the individual's personal integrity; learning how to change and improve conditions in life; and becoming more able to choose as one's associates those who will support - not harm - that individual and his or her goals.

Each of the life skills learned is applied to the person’s life as part their program, resulting in repaired relationships, and amends for damage done as a result of addiction and the addiction lifestyle. And each person on the Narconon program gains an understanding of why he or she ended-up abusing drugs in the first place.

As one graduate of the program said, Narconon Arrowhead doesn’t tell a person how to live a sober life. The person learns it for himself.

Susan’s review of the Narconon Arrowhead program tells how her son learned for himself to live a sober life.

Susan’s Reveiw

Susan begins by saying that before he son went to Narconon Arrowhead, her own life was terrible. She was experiencing the fear and anxiety of what would happen to her son because of the things he was doing.

She says she had to get counseling for herself, as the anxiety and fear was consuming her whole life, and making it difficult for her to work.

Her son was affecting every aspect of her life, she says, and it wasn’t the kind of life a person should have.

Her life changed when her son, Joe, enrolled in the program at Narconon Arrowhead.

Susan says he definitely matured as he went through the program. It was about half-way through the program when she saw him beginning to come more alive and become more himself.

“The son I used to know was coming back out”, she says.

According to Susan, the program at Narconon Arrowhead helped her son grow as a person, and to find himself as a person. She adds that if it weren’t for Narconon, she does not think she would even have her son today.

Susan says that since Joe completed the Narconon Arrowhead program, he feels good about himself and he is back at work. The program helped him just be himself, express and understand his feelings; and get out of the drug circle.

Based on her experience with her son, she would definitely recommend Narconon Arrowhead to a friend who had a son or a daughter addicted to drugs.

Susan shares with the reader that Narconon Arrowhead is the place you want to have your child–a place where they can be safe. And a place where they and find themselves.
