Wayne
Wayne is young man who arrived at Narconon Arrowhead after nearly destroying his life with drugs. Before coming to Narconon, drugs had torn him apart. He was caught in a downward spiral in life, and according to him, his family considered him hopeless.
Wayne says he was careless with his actions in life, and he had been hibernating from the world with his drug use.He says the drugs took him away to a point where he felt there was going to be no way out—no way to return to normal civilization again. And no way to get his life back.
Wayne says the drugs just ate him away, little by little by little. He couldn’t hold a job because of the drugs. And soon, he says—he became nobody.
Arriving at Narconon Arrowhead
When he first arrived at Narconon Arrowhead, Wayne says the staff in the building just welcomed him with open arms. He found that everybody was amazing. He noticed and experienced when walking down the halls of the center, everyone would say, “How ‘ya doing?!” And people would answer, “Good! I’m doing good!”
It was amazing to him, he says, that everyone was happy. He thought is was not something a person would expect out of a drug rehabilitation center. Wayne says he had been to two other drug rehabs, and 28-day programs, and they were nothing—nothing like this one.
Wayne adds, “Narconon has everything to offer–including happiness.”
He felt like everybody at Narconon Arrowhead is like one big family.
The Rehab Program
When talking about the Narconon drug and alcohol rehabilitation program at Narconon Arrowhead, Wayne says there was a point when he was doing the Narconon Sauna part of the program. He was sitting in the sauna.
He says there was a moment when he felt unbelievable. He doesn’t even think there are words to explain how good he felt at that moment. He says that every hair on his body stood-up, and he felt relieved of all the drugs he had ever done from that point in his life.
“And it had changed my life forever”, he says.
He emphasizes that there is no high and no drug—and he means any high and any drug–that can ever give him or make him feel as good as that moment in time he experienced in that sauna.
Now that Wayne is done with the Narconon rehab program, he wants the reader to know he has his life back. His family has their son back. And he is ready to start living life on life’s terms.
Wayne shares that he is happier than any time in his life. He feels healthier than any time in his life, and he is taking care of himself.
“And when one can love themselves,” he says, “they can love everyone around them.”
