I Feel a Renewed Zest for Life

I wasn’t sure what to expect before I arrived at Narconon Arrowhead, but this place exceeded my expectations. The staff was great, and the students were all smart, cool people.

During the sauna program, I continuously felt healthier and more clear-minded. My thoughts about the future became increasingly positive. The benefits of the sauna were awesome—my skin cleared up, and I felt great.

Objectives were the hardest part, but also the most beneficial. I loved having realizations and sharing some with my twin. At first, I felt that Objectives were a little silly and wouldn’t produce much benefit. I began with a few realizations that were theoretical in nature, mostly about the universe. After about the third objective, the realizations became more personal. Realizations about myself started to show me the true benefits of Objectives.

Being motivated in life has been somewhat nonexistent for the last 10 years or so. During Objectives, I started to feel a small spark inside me, and it grew as I progressed. I now have a renewed zest for life and feel motivated to reach some of the potential that I had long ago let go to waste. I’ve also regained interest in completing the college degree I had previously given up on.

“Another important ability I feel I have regained—or
tapped into—is self-control.”

Another important ability I feel I have regained—or tapped into—is self-control. I believe self-control is something I was lacking but needed in order to overcome addiction. I hope to continue strengthening it and applying it in many areas of my life.

It also felt good to get some overts (transgressions against myself and others) off my chest and realign my ethical compass during Ups and Downs.

All in all, this was a great program. I feel a renewed zest for life that I will use to become the best version of myself that I can be. Having completed the Narconon Program, I feel very optimistic about life.
