I Knew for a While I Needed Help, but I Did Not Want to Admit This to Myself

I will never forget the feeling I had prior to coming to Narconon. I was a lost soul with no direction. I threw up my hands and just assumed this is what my life is and I just have to accept it. I was drinking every day and using drugs almost as much. The interesting part is that I knew for a while I needed help, but I did not want to admit this to myself. I also did not know where to turn.

“Now, 100 days sober, they were right and I have them to thank for the rest of my life. Narconon changed my life forever and they made this experience happen for me.”

On June 12th 2025, with the support of my family and amazing girlfriend, I ended up on a flight to Dallas, TX from Buffalo, NY. I had no idea where I was going, I just trusted them that Narconon was what I needed in my life. Now, 100 days sober, they were right and I have them to thank for the rest of my life. Narconon changed my life forever and they made this experience happen for me.

From the second I stepped foot into Narconon I felt like family. Although still confused, I felt like I mattered, I felt secure and safe, and this feeling was the same through my entire time here at Narconon. Through good days and bad (challenging) I felt 100% loved and cared about and this feeling made all the difference in my ability to recover and say I will live a drug- and alcohol-free life.
