Narconon Arrowhead Journal – Learning Tools for Everyday Life

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing people transform and change for the better every day. Here are more successes from our current students at Narconon Arrowhead. This is where they have the chance to share with you the step-by-step accomplishments toward the end goal of becoming drug-free.
Withdrawal:
“When I first came to Narconon, I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t realize my body was so addicted to pharmaceuticals. Starting with the assists (gentle physical techniques to help calm the body and lessen aches and pains) and locationals (procedures to help the relieve mental and emotional discomfort of looking inward at negative thoughts or dwelling on the past), I awoke my body, but it also brought me outside my head into the present time—not stuck in the past. Starting the other therapeutic exercises and completing them in their entirety allowed me to truly be comfortable within my own body, surroundings, and other individuals in the present time. The experience thus far is one I would not exchange. Period. Thank you to the well-trained staff, process, and program in Withdrawal!” — K.D., Narconon Arrowhead Student
New Life Detoxification (sauna program):
“When I first started sauna, it seemed like an unobtainable goal to reach the end. But the more days that passed, and I had all the horrible things removed from my body, the easier it seemed to get. Being in there, it was really easy to find excuses to try and fight it, but I trusted the people at Narconon and kept at it. Even though I still have a ways to go, completing something as mentally and physically challenging felt amazing. I have given up on a lot of stuff throughout my life, and I can’t begin to explain how good I feel. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way. Conquering sauna is a really great experience both mentally and physically.” — A.M., Narconon Arrowhead Student
Objectives – communication drills:

“Completing my Objectives training is a great feeling. Although it wasn’t easy and I didn’t have faith in what I was doing, the more I pushed through and trusted what it was teaching me, the better I felt. My communication was a lot better, and I felt better a little more every day. I can see that all the things that were holding me back were just things in my head.”
“I did the training, and it was really cool how much I can apply the little I’ve learned so far into everyday life. The other day, I talked to my sister and mom, and it seemed like they noticed the difference. Almost automatically, my communication was a lot better, and it felt like I really talked to them for the first time in a long time. I’m glad I came here, and all the things I’m learning are gonna help me out a lot when I graduate. When I talked to them, I noticed how much I didn’t communicate before. It seems like I was full of crap and just doing it almost robotically. I feel like I can truly get what I have to say across and listen when they talk.” — A.M., Narconon Arrowhead Student
