Your Life Can Change
I had been struggling with alcohol addiction for about a year, and it became severe around six months before coming to Narconon Arrowhead. My life had slowly started to decline, and in my pain and suffering, I turned to fentanyl. Eventually, I knew it was time for treatment. I came to Narconon, and it saved my life.
Through vitamins and sauna, the body is detoxed, and it feels amazing. Increased energy, better sleep, and a clearer mind are some of the benefits of the sauna [New Life Detoxification Program]. Around day 10, I noticed my memory improving, I started to think more clearly, and my body began to feel refreshed. Each day after that, these improvements continued. I feel like I have a clear body and a clear mind again, and I feel years younger than I did before I started.
After the sauna portion comes Objectives, which helps bring the mind into the present instead of focusing on the past. I tend to worry about the past and the future, which causes stress and anxiety. Being in the present is the solution to this issue. It also gave me a deeper understanding of myself and what I want for the future. I feel much more in control of myself and my life ahead. Objectives work on the mind in unique ways, and I got so much out of it.
The Life Skills books helped me identify and analyze unhealthy people in my life and learn how to handle those relationships. By writing up my transgressions (called overts), I was able to release harmful actions from my past so they no longer dragged me down. Changing Conditions gave me the chance to make amends with loved ones, plan for the future, and work through life conditions so I can eventually achieve a stable, healthy way of living.
