How a 20 Year Old Found Hope After Despair
My parents did an intervention which was really hard for me because my drug use wasn’t exactly out in the open. However, my parents had a good idea of what was going on.
When I agreed to be helped, it really solidified the idea that I had become an addict and this was hard for me to accept and to admit.
Narconon has changed my life. Sauna was very helpful because it got all of the drug residues out of my body that could have caused me to relapse. I really enjoyed the New Life Detox. I had a much better understanding of how the body works and that not only did I expel drug residues, I also expelled other toxins. (One day I stepped out of sauna smelling like benzene!) The result of the detox was that I have never been healthier in my life.

The next courses really showed me how to be in present time and look at life differently. They were a completely different ball game. They showed me so much about not only myself, but others around me and how much they can influence me.
The Overcoming Ups and Downs in Life Course was next, and it reminded me of all the good people in my life as well as how to recognize bad influences in my life.
Personal Values was the best course for me by far. It showed me how to take responsibility for my past wrongdoings but also how to learn from them. Taking responsibility for all the transgressions I have committed, showed me how dark of a path I had been walking down and it is a path that I can say, without reservation, I will never be walking down again.
Changing Conditions in Life showed me that everything in life changes and I know now how to change these conditions and recognize when things are getting worse and come up with a solution for that.
