BETHANY DRUG REHAB HELP

CALL 1-800-468-6933 NOW FOR HELP WITH TREATMENT NEAR YOU!

If you are like many Oklahomans, you know someone who is addicted to illegal or prescription drugs or alcohol. Maybe it is a coworker, or perhaps a friend or family member. Oklahoma leads the nation in prescription drug abuse. More Oklahomans died last year from drug overdoses than from car crashes, with an average of two deaths per day. If you are concerned about the state’s drug problem, or if you know someone who is addicted to drugs or alcohol, Narconon Arrowhead can help.

Located on Lake Eufaula in Arrowhead State Park, Narconon Arrowhead is ideally located about a two-hour drive from Bethany and other major cities and surrounding areas. It is also secluded enough to provide a distraction-free environment in which a person can recover from addiction. The CARF-accredited Narconon Arrowhead uses a holistic, drug-free approach to rehabilitation and creates individualized treatment strategies based on the personal needs of each addict. We don’t use drug replacement therapies that substitute prescription medications for illegal drugs. This approach merely shifts the person’s addiction and doesn’t resolve it.  For 25 years, families and friends have placed their trust in Narconon Arrowhead to help their loved ones battle and overcome addiction.  Let us help your addicted loved one! Come to Narconon Arrowhead of Oklahoma!

Drug Addiction Treatment Near Bethany

Narconon Arrowhead is easily accessible for Bethany residents via I-40 E.  At Narconon Arrowhead, a person is assisted through withdrawal as comfortably as is possible. Drugs deplete a body’s natural stores of essential vitamins and minerals. Part of the Narconon approach includes restoring these stores, thereby improving the body’s overall health and decreasing the ill effects of long-term drug abuse. The addict also detoxifies his body to rid himself of every last trace of the drug that has been stored in the fatty tissues. This greatly decreases the likelihood of flashbacks and recurrences of the drug’s effects which can otherwise occur even months or years after the drug was last taken. The final piece of a full recovery includes equipping the person with tools they can use in life to handle the situations they are facing, regain their self-respect, and re-integrate into society.  Narconon Arrowhead does not simply treat the physical aspects of addiction; it helps to heal the damage drugs have created on a spiritual, mental, and moral level as well.

The Bethany OK Drug Problem – Drug Abuse Reaches into Every Strata of Society

Drug abuse can happen to anyone, even those who are supposed to be on the front lines guarding against it. In Bethany, former police officer Jack Jencks was charged with ten counts of larceny in relation to prescription drugs that went missing from evidence lockers. He was the last person to handle each drug before it went missing. Jencks, who was responsible for bringing the evidence to and from a forensic lab, is accused of stealing the drugs. Whether he then used them himself or sold them is unclear. Drugs that went missing include Xanax and hydrocodone. Xanax is an anti-anxiety medication that is commonly abused. Hydrocodone is a highly addictive pain medication.

At the same time that some are becoming locked in the dwindling spiral of drug addiction, others are fighting back. In March of this year, NewsOK partnered with Oklahoma Watch to raise awareness about the state’s prescription drug abuse problem and to let legislators know that we need more accountability from doctors prescribing powerful, addictive medications. We also need better monitoring systems that prevent people from obtaining multiple prescriptions from different doctors.
